You provide us with the data on the basis of the contract relationship (for example to manage your customer account or complete a purchase contract) between you and us. We must process your e-mail address in the event that you place a purchase order with us as a result of the statutory provisions in the Civil Code (BGB) as we have an obligation to send you an electronic order confirmation (Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter c of the GDPR).

Use of data for the purposes of credit checks and sending to credit agencies
Bültel Worldwide Fashion GmbH & Co. KG generally enables its customers to purchase goods using insecure payment methods (for example payment on receipt of invoice). This means that Bültel Worldwide Fashion GmbH & Co. KG has a justified interest in protecting itself as well as possible from non-paying customers. This is done by various methods, including checking the creditworthiness of the customer before enabling them to use insecure payment methods and using the information received during the ordering process to calculate the probability of non-payment.
This check is carried out by Arvato Payment Solutions GmbH, Gütersloher Str. 123, 33415 Verl in conjunction with informa solutions GmbH, Rheinstrasse 99, 76532 Baden-Baden and infoscore Consumer Data GmbH, Rheinstr. 99, 76532 Baden-Baden. Your data are processed for this credit check on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letters b and f of the GDPR.
Use of data for fraud prevention purposes
The data provided by you during an ordering process may be used to check whether it is an atypical order process (for example the simultaneous order of a wide range of goods for the same address using different customer accounts). In principle, we have a justified interest in carrying out these checks. The legal basis for processing these data is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of the GDPR.
Furthermore, Bültel Worldwide Fashion GmbH & Co. KG processes personal data to meet its legal duties (for example under commercial or fiscal legislation) on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter c of the GDPR.

This means that camel active will delete your personal data at the latest after the elapse of its statutory storage obligations, generally 10 years after the end of the contract.

We receive data about the total number of users who clicked on our ads and what actions they took. However, we do not receive any information that can personally identify users. Google uses cookies or similar recognition technologies for this purpose.
The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You may revoke your consent at any time. More information on Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
We also use the enhanced conversions feature as part of Google Conversion Tracking. Enhanced conversions allow us to transmit various types of customer data (e.g., location, state, postal code, hashed email addresses, names, gender, date of birth, or phone number) collected on our website to Google in hashed form. By activating enhanced conversions, we can better tailor our advertising campaigns to individuals interested in our offerings. It also improves the attribution of website conversions to ad events such as clicks or views.

Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel)
We use the visitor action pixel from Facebook/Meta on our website for conversion tracking. This service is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, the collected data may also be transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows us to track the behavior of website visitors after they have been redirected to our website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This helps us evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising campaigns.
The data collected is anonymous to us as the operators of this website—we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, allowing a connection to the respective user profile and enabling Facebook to use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with its Data Use Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). This may allow Facebook to display ads on Facebook and outside of Facebook. We, as website operators, have no influence over this use of data.
The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR and of the German Telecommunications and Telemedia Data Protection Act (TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
We use the "advanced matching" function within the Meta Pixel. Advanced matching allows us to transmit various types of data (e.g., location, state, ZIP code, hashed email addresses, names, gender, date of birth, or phone number) collected on our website to Meta (Facebook). This helps us better tailor our Facebook advertising campaigns to people who are interested in our offers. It also improves attribution of website conversions and enhances the creation of custom audiences.
To the extent that personal data is collected using the tool described here and transmitted to Facebook, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland, are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). This joint responsibility applies solely to the collection and transmission of the data to Facebook. Any subsequent processing by Facebook is not part of the joint responsibility. Our mutual responsibilities have been outlined in a joint processing agreement, which you can view here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for securely implementing the tool on our website. Facebook is responsible for the data security of its products. You may exercise your rights as a data subject (e.g., access requests) directly with Facebook. If you assert your rights with us, we are obligated to forward your request to Facebook.
The data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Details can be found here:

Use of Stylitics and Data Processing within the Standard Implementation
As part of our online offering, we utilize services provided by Stylitics Inc., 236 5th Ave, New York, NY 10001, a U.S.-based provider of visual product recommendations. Stylitics is integrated into our standard implementation via an embedded widget and a so-called "purchase pixel." Only anonymized, non-personal data is processed in this context. The purpose of this processing is to analyze user behavior and to optimize our service offering.
The following categories of data may be collected:
- Product identifiers, based on a pseudonymized ID jointly defined between Stylitics and our organization
- Information regarding user interactions with the widget (e.g., views, clicks)
- Metadata related to the widget (e.g., carousel position, outfit ID)
- Technical attributes of the end device used, such as screen size or user agent, particularly for bot detection and device-specific reporting
- URLs of the visited pages
- Purchase-related data, including items purchased, price, currency, and total order value
- A locally stored session ID (UUID) that allows the linking of user interactions with purchase events
This data is stored and processed exclusively in aggregated form on servers located in the United States. Identification of natural persons based on this data is not possible. The session recognition via UUID is fully anonymized and, without additional client-side identifiers (to which Stylitics has no access), cannot be attributed to a specific individual. In accordance with Recital 26 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), fully anonymized data does not fall within the scope of the regulation.
The use of Stylitics' analytics and reporting functionalities is subject to user consent obtained through our consent management platform. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR. Regardless of this, the Stylitics widget can technically operate without analytics by enabling the "doNotTrack" option, which is supported by Stylitics.
Use of Stylitics Personalization Services
If additional personalization functionalities provided by Stylitics are used on our online shop—separate from the standard implementation—this may involve the processing of additional data categories, particularly IP addresses. In such cases, data processing takes place exclusively on the basis of express user consent pursuant to Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR. Users may, in this context, submit a request for the deletion of their personal data to Stylitics using their IP address.
